Teaser is the prelude to Toa in Quarantine and Misguided Toa overall.

Vakama gives Tahu some bad news.

This episode was made on a whim by Syp The Mighty after a six-year hiatus from stop-motion animating. As such, it was not considered connected to Misguided during its production.
Syp's voice portrayal for Tahu is carried over from Tahu Meets Hero Factory! 2: Tail of Two Kitties, the eighteenth episode of The Shadowplayer Show, rather than her higher-pitched voice for the character from Misguided.
Unlike Misguided, this episode introduces the island of Mata Nui from BIONICLE as its main setting. Additionally, Vakama from BIONICLE appears.
