Tahu
Tahu is the Toa of Fire who appears in Toa in Quarantine and The Brick Tahu Saga, voiced by Syp The Mighty.
Role in Plot
Events of Toa in Quarantine
In Teaser, Tahu is informed by Vakama that a virus outbreak has hit the island of Mata Nui. Later, in Episode 1, he gathers his siblings beneath the center of the island and informs them that they are quarantining until the virus goes away. In Episode 2, Kopaka leaves their shelter which leads Tahu to look for him by asking Pohatu and Onua. After learning Kopaka went to Ko-Koro, Tahu found him and convinced him to return. When Tahu and Kopaka arrive back to the shelter, in Episode 4, Tahu has to repair a deconstructed Lewa after a failed attempt at fusion with Gali and Pohatu. Ahkmou later arrives to inform the Toa that the virus has disappeared and everyone is free to leave quarantine, in Episode 5. Tahu and Onua discover Ahkmou was lying and leave to round up the other Toa once again. In Episode 6, Tahu and Onua manage to bring the other Toa back to quarantine only to discover they had become infected. Tahu and Onua then succumb to the illness themselves, unknown to survive.
Events of The Brick Tahu Saga
Takua approaches Tahu and Kopaka as the two have a conversation about Tahu bullying someone in Tribute, delivering the news of Nuparu building a robots based on Tahu that he's giving away with purchases of his "Boxor" vehicle. To Tahu's detriment, it is not sold separately, causing him to shout Nuparu's name to the sky.
Events of Misguided
Sometime later in life, Tahu grows a large mustache over his mask and remains friends with Onua and Kopaka as drinking buddies. While together at a pub, in Bonding, Tahu recalls a story about he threatened someone to take their hands off his girl before being interrupted by a news report on the pub's television about Onua's roommates that causes him to leave. Kopaka then suggests going to a strip club, in which Tahu excitedly agrees.
Other appearances
A version of Tahu introduced himself to Hero Factory Man, in Tahu Meets Hero Factory! 2: Tail of Two Kitties, but became flustered at the stranger introducing himself and ran off. He later appears in Morning, mourning the end of Toa in Quarantine with a dismissive Onua.

- He is based on the BIONICLE character of the same name, though his personality greatly differs in Misguided to the point of only sharing aesthetics with the original character in that series.
- He is depicted with a higher pitched voice in Misguided bearing an oversized fake mustache, while in Tahu Meets Hero Factory! 2: Tail of Two Kitties his voice is an exaggerated take on Scott McNeil's Tahu in the BIONICLE film Mask of Light. Syp the Mighty would retain her latter portrayal for Toa in Quarantine and beyond.
