This series was not intended to be connected to Misguided during the production of Toa in Quarantine. During the production of Toa in The Brick Tahu Saga, Syp The Mighty decided to make this series a standalone prequel.
Syp The Mighty and TheIdsStudios reprise their roles as Tahu and Onua from Misguided, though with voice portrayals closer to those from the BIONICLE film Mask of Light. Additionally, TheIdsStudios takes over as the voice of Kopaka, while Syp also reprises her role as Pohatu, both also taking inspiration from Mask of Light.
