Onua is the Toa of Earth who appears in Toa in Quarantine, voiced by TheiDsStudios.
Role in Plot
Events of Toa in Quarantine
Onua goes into quarantine upon a virus striking Mata Nui in Episode 1, alongside Tahu, Kopaka, Lewa, Gali, and Pohatu. While conversing with Pohatu in Episode 2, Onua gives Tahu the silent treatment when Tahu ignores him to ask Pohatu about Kopaka's whereabouts. Later, in Episode 4, Onua witnesses Lewa fall apart after trying to fuse into a Kaita with Gali and Pohatu to no avail. When Ahkmou shows up and claims that Turaga Onewa announced the quarantine is over, in Episode 5, most of the Toa depart whilst leaving behind Onua and Tahu. The pair then hear Ahkmou laugh to himself before realizing the two were observing him, causing Tahu to slap him before Onua follows Tahu to retrieve the other Toa. In Episode 6, Onua and Tahu successfully bring the other Toa back to their shelter, albeit infected with the virus. Onua then comments that he and Tahu likely should be infected, only for them to actually get infected moments after.

Trivia
- He is based on the BIONICLE character of the same name, though his personality greatly differs in Misguided to the point of only sharing aesthetics with the original character in that series.
- He is one of the few characters to retain the same voice actor in every appearance, always being voiced by TheiDsStudios.
- Onua is depicted as degenerative and obnoxious in Misguided compared to his more reserved and calmer personality in BIONICLE. This was due to his personality being based on Ganon's from Mocha Loca for that series, rather than his actual BIONICLE counterpart. He acts closer to his BIONICLE counterpart in Toa in Quarantine and beyond.
- A version of him named Omuda appears in Syp The Mighty's original webcomic Tales From Outer Space, where he is depicted as an alien.
